• The plates is contoured during manufacturing to approximate the eventual fracture site, allowing fine adjustments to be made in the theatre.
• The head of the plate is shifted either left or right to allow for alternative screw placement.
• Available in left and right plates
• Plates available with 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 & 12 holes.

Screw to be used: Head of plate accept 6.5 mm cancellous screws. Plate shaft accepts 4.5 mm cortical screws.

Plate thickness: 2.0 mm.
Shaft width: 16.5 mm.
Head width: 35.5 mm.
Holes Spacing: 16.0 mm.

Indications: The L-Plate is designed to be used for the treatment of tibial head fractures. Specially design of plate allows to be used as a buttress plate in the areas of thin metaphyseal cortical bone or to prevent the collapsing of any cancellous defect in that area. It is particularly used for fixation of osteopenic bone, nonunions and malunions
